STU Cares - Day of Action is an event held on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 that embodies STU’s spirit of service. Volunteer teams of STU students go out into the community to learn about the work of a local community organization and do hands-on work to support it. Volunteers work on such issues as poverty, food security, environmental preservation, homelessness, domestic violence, youth, and community building (to name a few). The day concludes with a chance to reflect on the service we’ve done, social issues in the community, and connections to what we are learning in class. Then we celebrate with a barbecue!

STU Cares is a great way to meet new friends, make a difference, see more of Fredericton, and explore career opportunities.
